In China it has long been the tradition to hold an annual tree or forest festival. On this Arbor Day (Mar. 12th), particular attention is drawn to the part trees play in our lives and people really appreciate the importance of such a diversity of plants to the well being of humanity. This year, to speed up the building of ecological civilization system in Xiamen, more than 40 staff members from XMFSC went to Jimei Bantou Forestry Center on Mar. 13th to plant trees.
